Jeff has been a fan of TTRPGs since 1982 and a professional software developer since 1996. He's been an avid supporter of Open Source since 1999, loves FreeBSD, Linux, and other 'free' (as in freedom, not beer) software and hardware solutions.

Jeff spends his time with his wife and nearing-empty nest kids while working full time at the local School District as the sole developer for data transfer and reporting.

He also writes! 2021 was Jeff's eight National Novel Writing Month where he drafted the second part of his Legendary Atlantis saga, an alternate mythological fantasy story where Jehovah's flood was thwarted by gods and men.

His inspiration for working on OpenD6 is the Open Source movement so that folks can use a quality, free framework to play and create table top role playing games.
