Trait Dice Roller
Dice Step Chart
Wait, What? What the heck is "Step/Static Target"?
One game rule option is to assign Static Numbers for targets such as Dodge or Endurance rolls instead of rolling them each time to speed up game play. This will play in relatively "easy mode" for the players though as the steps are quite below the average roll. This number is a low-average roll which does not include the chances of the Wild Die exploding.
Internally we use this as a "step" to calculate the Dice and Pips to quickly generate the following table which is usable in any OpenD6 game.
Behind the Scenes we assign all Abilities and Skills a step number so it's easier to just increment or decrement this step number on advancement. In addition, this makes calculating skills+attribute super fast and simple.
